Diocese of Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana
Dear Beloved Congregation,
As you all may have heard by now, the church will be resuming the liturgies this Sunday, May 24. By doing so, there will be strict guidelines and rules that we must follow to ensure the safety of our congregation and priest. We will be strictly limiting the number of people allowed in the church. Masks are required to be worn throughout the whole duration of the liturgy. All members of the family MUST remain together, including children. Upon entering the sanctuary, one will take off their shoes at the coat rack (outside of the sanctuary). During the morning of the liturgy, each member of their household MUST take their temperature. If a member of the family has a symptom, even the slightest of which, they are to stay home and notify Abouna (to reschedule). After the liturgy, there will be absolutely NO socializing inside of the church whatsoever. We must stay honest and obedient of these rules, as we are to be honest in front of God. One can sign up by contacting Abouna and stating 3 dates that they wish to have the liturgy. We are asking for 3 dates because one of your desired dates may not be available.
We continue to pray for health and safety of our congregation.
Welcome! We are glad you have chosen to spend a few moments looking around, discovering our orthodox church family. While you are browsing our website, you will learn about our ministries and get a glimpse of who we are, but only a glimpse. To fully understand us and our Orthodox tradition, come to a Divine Liturgy or to a Bible study, ask questions and feel the up-close, in-person fellowship that comes when people share time together in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and united in the Holy Spirit.
